Pre-University Internship Programme

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore - Pre University

"Getting to travel abroad for an ASEAN ministerial meeting, sit in on meetings with foreign officials and attend Japan's National Day Reception, I had a front row seat to the world of diplomacy and the Foreign Service. While I always had an interest in international affairs and diplomacy, I was still unfamiliar with the day-to-day of an FSO. The internship not only helped to clarify my doubts but also introduced me to the fast-paced and exciting work environment. It ultimately allowed me to picture myself as an FSO and to evaluate my compatibility with the job and its lifestyle."
