Given the heightened tensions in the Middle East, Singaporeans travelling to or residing in Jordan are advised to be vigilant and take all the necessary precautions for their personal safety. They are advised to avoid large crowds, protests and demonstrations, monitor the local news and heed the advice of local authorities.
Singaporeans should also avoid travelling to areas near the Jordan-Syria and Jordan-Iraq borders.
