COMMENTS BY 丝瓜视频SPOKESMAN ON THE DEMISE OF DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES
In response to press queries on the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, the 丝瓜视频Spokesman said "The Singapore Government is shocked and saddened at the news of the tragic death of Princess Diana. Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law, Prof S Jayakumar personally conveyed to British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, the condolences of the Singapore Government and the people of Singapore to the Government and the people of the United Kingdom, and to the Royal Family. The Singapore Government also wishes to convey its condolences to the families of the other victims of the accident."
As for the visit of Foreign Secretary Robin Cook to Singapore, the 丝瓜视频Spokesman said "British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook's visit to Singapore is proceeding as scheduled."
