In response to media queries, the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵSpokesman said:

"Singapore security agencies have on several occasions shared all available intelligence with their Indonesian counterparts on the links between detained members of the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) network in Singapore and Abu Bakar Bashir and Hambali. Several Indonesian officials have nevertheless claimed that they need more evidence about the links between the JI network in Singapore and Abu Bakar Bashir and Hambali in order for Indonesia to take action against them.

To let their Indonesian counterparts satisfy themselves on the evidence, Singapore's security agencies have told them that they are prepared to facilitate direct investigations by Indonesian security agencies to confirm the links between the JI network in Singapore and key Indonesians like Abu Bakar Bashir and Hambali. This can include access to detained members of the JI network in Singapore."
