Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore - $name

As part of Singapore's commitment to work together with the Government of Indonesia to ensure a successful ASEAN Summit in Bali and to keep ASEAN SARS-free, the Singapore Government has presented two thermal scanners to Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.

The two thermal scanners were symbolically handed over by Mr Edward Lee, Singapore's Ambassador to Jakarta, on behalf of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, to HE Dr Hassan Wirajuda, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Indonesia in a brief ceremony on 4 October 2003.

This latest contribution, in addition to four thermal scanners presented to the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in July 2003, is testimony to the close friendship between Singapore and Indonesia and the common determination to undertake all efforts to remain vigilant against SARS.
