VISIT OF PRESIDENT NURSULTAN NAZARBAYEV OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN, 6-10 NOVEMBER 2003
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, will make a State Visit to Singapore from 6 to 10 November 2003 at the invitation of President S R Nathan. This is President Nazarbayev's second visit to Singapore. President Nazarbayev first visited Singapore in May 1996. President Nazarbayev will be accompanied by top government officials and a business delegation.
President Nazarbayev will meet with President Nathan, Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew. President Nathan will host a state dinner in honour of President Nazarbayev and the Kazakh delegation. President Nazarbayev will also address the Singapore-Kazakhstan Business Forum on 10 November 2003. During President Nazarbayev's visit, the Agreement of Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore will be signed.
