The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo, will attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat to be held in Cebu City, Philippines, from 10 to 12 April 2005. At the Retreat, the ASEAN Foreign Ministers will discuss key issues such as the East Asia Summit, the ASEAN Charter, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation within ASEAN. The Foreign Ministers will also discuss the issue of Myanmar's Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2006.
