The Chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China and Member of the Politburo Standing Committee, Wu Bangguo, will be making an official visit to Singapore from 17 to 19 May 2005. He will be accompanied by Mrs Wu, Vice Chairman Raidi and senior officials.
Chairman Wu will call on President S R Nathan, and have separate meetings with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Speaker Abdullah Tarmugi.
