Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore - $name

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr Nobutaka Machimura, will make an official visit to Singapore on 19 July 2005 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo.

This will be the first official visit by Mr Machimura in his capacity as Foreign Minister. Mr Machimura last visited Singapore in August 2002 as Acting Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). While in Singapore, Mr Machimura will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean.
