Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore - $name

In response to further press queries on the Singaporeans affected by the sinking of a cruise ship off Bahrain, the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵspokesman said:

"Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵhas been in touch with the families of the six Singaporeans involved. The two rescued Singaporeans have since been discharged from hospital and arrangements are being made for them to return to Singapore. Officers from our Missions in Riyadh and Dubai are now in Bahrain and are working with the local authorities to locate the missing Singaporeans.

We are sad to learn from the Bahraini authorities that the bodies of all 4 missing Singaporeans have been found. We are awaiting confirmation of a positive identification of the bodies from the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵofficials on the ground.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵHQ and our officers on the ground will continue to render all the necessary assistance to the families of Singaporeans in this tragedy."
