HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar called on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon. They had a friendly and fruitful exchange of views on bilateral relations and regional developments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Both ministers discussed potential areas of cooperation and agreed to deepen bilateral relations.

HE Sheikh Hamad, accompanied by high-level officials, is in Singapore on an official visit as the guest of Minister Yeo. He also called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and met with Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang.
