"Singapore warmly welcomes and supports the United Nations Security Council's unanimous approval of Resolution 1701 that, inter alia, calls for "full cessation of hostilities based upon, in particular, the immediate cessation by Hizbollah of all attacks and the immediate cessation by Israel of all offensive military operations".
We hope that this will provide an opportunity to reach the longer term goal of a durable solution that will address the security concerns of all parties."
