Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit Terengganu, Malaysia from 16 to 18 September 2014. SMS Masagos is scheduled to have an audience with the Sultan of Terengganu, HRH Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah at Istana Syarqiyyah, Chendering. He will also call on the Chief Minister of Terengganu Dato’ Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman. SMS Masagos will also be meeting members of the Terengganu Malay Chamber of Commerce and Terengganu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition, he will receive a briefing by the State Economic Planning Unit and the East Coast Economic Region Development Council on developments in Terengganu.
SMS Masagos’ visit is part of our efforts to strengthen ties between Singapore and various Malaysian states, including the promotion of closer economic links and people-to-people exchanges.
