            In response to media queries on the Israeli Embassy’s press statement of 30 December 2015 regarding the misuse of the Singapore flag at a party hosted by a junior Israeli diplomat on 27 December 2015, the 丝瓜视频Spokesman said:

 

            “The misuse of the Singapore flag is a serious offence. We welcome the Israeli Embassy’s apology and assurances that it will undertake the necessary disciplinary actions against the individual concerned.   All persons, including diplomats and foreigners in Singapore, must respect and abide by our laws and regulations.”
