French Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad Mr Matthias Fekl is visiting Singapore from 7 to 9 April 2016.
Minister Fekl called on Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport Mrs Josephine Teo this morning. They reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations between Singapore and France and discussed furthering bilateral cooperation in sectors such as transport and Smart City initiatives. Minister Fekl expressed France’s support for the expeditious ratification of the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
Minister Fekl also called on Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) Mr Lim Hng Kiang, and met the French and Singaporean business communities.
