丝瓜视频Press Statement: Visit by Senior Minister of State Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman to Bandung and Palembang, 25 to 28 July 2016

                Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Defence and Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman will visit Bandung in West Java and Palembang in South Sumatra from 25 to 28 July 2016.  The visit is part of Singapore’s continued efforts to strengthen linkages with Indonesian regions.

                In Bandung, SMS Maliki will meet local leaders, including West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan, West Java Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Speaker Ineu Purwadewi Sundari, Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil, as well as representatives from the local business community. 

                In Palembang, SMS Maliki will meet South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin, South Sumatra DPRD Speaker HM Giri N Kiemas, as well as representatives from the local business community and NGOs.  SMS Maliki will also visit the Silk Air Flight 185 memorial near Palembang.

                SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
