There were multiple bombings in several areas in Thailand on 11 and 12 August 2016. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has contacted all registered Singaporeans in the affected areas and verified that they are safe. 

Singaporeans in Thailand should stay vigilant and take all necessary precautions for their personal safety.

Singaporeans in Thailand are encouraged to e-Register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at  so that we may contact you should the need arise. Singaporeans are also advised to stay in touch with your family and friends so that they know you are safe.
