Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte will make an Official Visit to Singapore on 24 November 2016. An official welcome ceremony will be held for Prime Minister Rutte who will call on President Tony Tan, and meet and be hosted to lunch by PM Lee Hsien Loong. He will also deliver the 39th Singapore Lecture titled “The Netherlands, Singapore, our Regions, our World: Connecting Our Common Future”, moderated by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam. In addition, Prime Minister Rutte will attend several business-related events to promote collaborations between Singapore and Dutch companies.
Prime Minister Rutte will be accompanied by an official delegation from the Ministry of General Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and an economic delegation comprising representatives from the Netherlands Confederation of Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW) and the CEOs of several Dutch companies.
Prime Minister’s Rutte visit will reaffirm the good and long-standing bilateral relations between Singapore and the Netherlands.
