Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan Tshering Tobgay will make an official visit to Singapore from 27 to 30 November 2016.
An official welcome ceremony will be held at the Istana on 29 November 2016. This will be followed by a call on Acting President J Y Pillay and a meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Prime Minister Lee will also host Prime Minister Tobgay lunch at the Istana.
During the visit, Prime Minister Tobgay will deliver a lecture at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He will also make site visits to the Singapore Tourism Board, Institute of Technical Education’s College West, and the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority’s Woodlands Checkpoint, as part of his interest in tourism promotion, vocational education and training, and immigration and border control.
Prime Minister Tobgay will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Tashi Doma, and a delegation of senior government officials.
