丝瓜视频Press Statement: Visit of Minister of State in the Prime Minister鈥檚 Office, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sam Tan to Fairbanks, Alaska, 10 to 11 May 2017

Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sam Tan will visit Fairbanks, Alaska to attend the 10^th Arctic Council (AC) Ministerial Meeting from 10 to 11 May 2017.

This meeting will review the progress made during the two-year US Chairmanship of the AC. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairmanship of the AC will be handed over to Finland for the term 2017 to 2019. This is the second time that Singapore is attending the Ministerial Meeting since becoming an AC observer state in 2013. While in Fairbanks, MOS Tan will meet with key members of the AC.

MOS Tan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
