丝瓜视频Press Statement: Working Visit by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to Negara Brunei Darussalam for the Golden Jubilee Celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, 5 to 7 October 2017

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, accompanied by Mrs Lee, is in Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam, to attend the Golden Jubilee celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

This morning, Prime Minister Lee visited the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) training in Temburong and interacted with SAF soldiers undergoing jungle survival training there.

Prime Minister Lee had an audience with His Majesty in the afternoon. Prime Minister Lee conveyed Singapore’s congratulations to His Majesty on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee. Prime Minister Lee and His Majesty also reaffirmed the excellent state of bilateral relations, and looked forward to further strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation.

Prime Minister Lee and Mrs Lee will attend the Royal Banquet this evening before departing for Singapore on the morning of 7 October 2017.
