丝瓜视频Press Statement: Visit by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman to Medan and Batam, Indonesia, 14 to 15 August 2018

Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman will visit Medan in North Sumatra Province and Batam in Riau Islands (KEPRI) Province from 14 to 15 August 2018. These visits are part of Singapore’s continued efforts to expand cooperation and strengthen ties with Indonesia at the regional level.

In Medan, SMS Maliki will meet North Sumatra Vice Governor-elect Musa Rajekshah and North Sumatra Provincial Secretary R. Sabrina, and host lunch for Medan-based business leaders. In Batam, SMS Maliki will meet Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi and BP Batam Chairman Lukita Dinarsyah Tuwo.

During his visits to Medan and Batam, SMS Maliki will also attend the Singapore National Day Receptions hosted by the Singapore Consulate-General in Medan and the Singapore Consulate-General in Batam respectively. SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
