The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, His Excellency Andrej Babiš, will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 14 to 15 January 2019. Prime Minister Babiš’ visit reaffirms our warm and friendly relations, and will be an opportunity to deepen bilateral cooperation.

An official Welcome Ceremony will be held for Prime Minister Babiš on 14 January. Prime Minister Babiš will call on President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who will also host an Official Dinner. In addition, he will meet Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat.

While in Singapore, Prime Minister Babiš will also visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens where an orchid will be named in his honour, attend a Singapore-Czech Republic Business Forum, and make a site visit to the Centre of Excellence for Testing & Research of Autonomous Vehicles – Nanyang Technological University (CETRAN).

Prime Minister Babiš will be accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade Her Excellency Marta Nováková, senior government officials and a business delegation.
