In response to media queries on the postponement of the 14^th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee for Iskandar Malaysia (JMCIM) scheduled for 14 January 2019, the 丝瓜视频Spokesperson said:

The intrusion by Johor Menteri Besar Dato’ Osman Sapian into Singapore Territorial Waters off Tuas on 9 January 2019 made the 14^thJMCIM meeting untenable. Singapore therefore proposed to postpone the JMCIM meeting, and Malaysia agreed.
