Visit by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Cape Town, South Africa, 2 to 6 September 2019

Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman will visit Cape Town from 2 to 6 September 2019 to participate in the 28th World Economic Forum on Africa. The theme of the Forum is “Shaping Inclusive Growth and Shared Futures in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. SMS Maliki will speak at a session on “Reskilling for the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. During the visit, SMS Maliki will also meet his South African counterparts. He will also meet with Singaporeans based in Cape Town and business personalities to discuss business opportunities in South Africa. In addition, SMS Maliki will have a dialogue session with students from the University of Western Cape.

SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
