The Ministry extends its deepest condolences to the family of the Singaporean who was involved in a mishap while diving at Banten, Indonesia. We will continue to render the necessary consular assistance to the bereaved family.
 
The Singapore Government would like to express its appreciation to the Indonesian Government for the conduct of the Search and Rescue (SAR) operations from 3 to 15 November 2019. We are especially grateful to the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS), which led the SAR efforts, as well as the Indonesian National Police (POLRI) and other Indonesian agencies involved in the operations.
