Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong made a telephone call to Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin this afternoon. Prime Minister Lee congratulated Prime Minister Muhyiddin on his appointment as the 8^th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Both Prime Ministers reaffirmed the substantive and broad-based cooperation shared by Singapore and Malaysia, and looked forward to working together for continued mutual benefit.
