Working Visit by Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia Kaja Kallas to Singapore, 3 to 6 June

Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia Kaja Kallas is in Singapore on a working visit. Prime Minister Kallas called on President Halimah Yacob at the Istana today.

President Halimah and Prime Minister Kallas reaffirmed the warm and friendly relations between Singapore and Estonia, and discussed ways to strengthen co-operation between the two countries. They also exchanged views on key regional developments, and reaffirmed the importance of upholding a rules-based multilateral system and global order.

This morning, Prime Minister Kallas also jointly inaugurated the Estonian Embassy in Singapore with Acting Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

Prime Minister Kallas will participate in the Asia Tech x Singapore Summit organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) tomorrow before returning to Estonia.
