Working Visit of Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Education Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman Varanasi, India, 11 to 13 June 2023

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Education, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, will be in Varanasi, India from 11 to 13 June 2023 for the G20 Development Ministers’ Meeting (DMM). The Meeting will be chaired by Minister of External Affairs of India, Dr S Jaishankar, in India’s capacity as the 2023 G20 Presidency.

Convening for the third time, the G20 DMM seeks to promote greater international cooperation with a view to accelerating progress towards achieving the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, as well as stepping up efforts towards green development to mitigate the consequences of climate change.

Minister Maliki will also meet his counterparts from other countries on the sidelines of the DMM.

Minister Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
