During his visit to Türkiye, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean met Turkish leaders, including Vice President Cevdet Y谋lmaz, Minister of National Defense Ya艧ar Güler, Chief Advisor to the President for Foreign Policy and Security Akif Ça臒atay K谋l谋ç, as well as senior security officials. They reaffirmed the warm and longstanding bilateral relations as both countries commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Türkiye-Singapore Strategic Partnership and 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Both sides exchanged perspectives on global and regional developments, and discussed opportunities in new areas of cooperation, such as fintech, digitalisation, and the green transition.
SM Teo also met Turkish Parliamentarians, business leaders, and Singaporeans based in Türkiye.
