Bank of Thailand Governor Dr Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput is visiting Singapore under the S R Nathan Fellowship from 25 to 27 May 2025.

During his visit, Dr Sethaput will be hosted to lunch by Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry Gan Siow Huang and meet Senior Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Finance Shawn Huang. Dr Sethaput will meet senior civil servants from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and receive a briefing on Singapore’s export control framework. Dr Sethaput will also meet AI Singapore to learn more about its initiatives and explore collaboration possibilities.

The S R Nathan Fellowship is a high-level programme for foreign leaders, prominent personalities, and opinion shapers to visit Singapore to exchange ideas and experiences with Singapore leaders and senior government officials on issues of mutual interest. The Fellowship was launched by former President S R Nathan and then-Minister for Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam in November 2012.
