The Singapore Consulate-General in Batam, Indonesia provides consular services under its jurisdiction coverage of the Riau Islands and Riau provinces. The office was established in April 2009, before its upgrade to a Consulate-General in August 2017 on the 50th anniversary of relations between Singapore and Indonesia. The Consulate-General also promotes and facilitates engagement between Singapore, the Riau Islands and Riau.
